Meet Peter! He is a fun, loving, 2.5 year old mini Rex, nurtured Harlequin bunny. He weighs in at only 3.5 pounds. Unfortunately due to health reasons I am not able to give him the time and attention he deserves and with a sad heart I am looking for the perfect forever home for him.

Peter adores face and cheek pets, and will even nudge  you for more if you stop petting him. You may even be lucky enough to receive his never ending kisses. When he isn’t sleeping or eating he loves to run around, chew on his toys and toss them around. His favorite thing to chew on is a stick, especially if your willing to hold it for him! When he is happy he will zoomie around and show off his binkies! He loves to hop on things including his favorite humans so once he knows you be ready for his goofy, loving personality to come out.

Peter, like most buns, doesn’t like to be picked up. However he will tolerate it long enough to clip his nails with another person helping. He isn’t the biggest fan of brushing but he will allow it for a few strokes and if you distract him with tasty treats or pellets. He is fully litter box trained aside from his couple golden nugs he likes to leave right outside the entrance. I’m pretty sure that’s just the sass in him lol!

Peter would be happy being a single bun in the right setting with enough space, attention and stimulation or having a bunny friend. A house with young children would not be a good fit. I do have a 3.5 year old New Zealand male named Charlie. Peter and Charlie have been pre bonded in a split room for about 6 months. They aren’t best friend by any means which is why I would be okay with them going to forever homes separately but if the right person who was confident in fully bonding the two came along that may work too.

Please reach out to me with serious inquiries only and please be kind. This has been a very hard decision and has come with a lot of thought and heartache. I want this adoption to be the last one that Peter will ever have to go through in his life so it needs to be the perfect fit for him.
