It is with a heavy heart that I am looking for a new home for my pup. Buster is an eleven-year-old corgi/miniature fox terrier/huntaway mix. He is very loyal so I know it will be a major adjustment for him to be rehomed. He requires a lot of cuddles, attention, and routine. Once he adjusts, he gives an incredible amount of love and sweetness to his people. He’s very in tune with those around him and very intelligent. I have never been afraid that Buster has run off. If I cannot find him while on a hike, it is because he is right at my feet. He is very capable for an older dog. He loves the frisbee and long hikes but likes to chill out when he’s at home. He LOVES being on boats, kayaks, and paddleboards. He loves to play in the snow and catch snowballs. When he’s excited, he prances like a pony.
Buster does well with other animals though I think he would do best in a lower-energy home with little to no other pets. Buster has two large benign lumps that will likely cause mobility issues later in life. I adopted Buster three years ago when his previous owner had to move back to New Zealand. I am in my twenties and am unfortunately unable to give him the life he deserves while pursuing a career. I hope to find someone who can give him a solid routine and lots of love.
